About ThroughPlay

ThroughPlay is a live, multimedia “performance-presentation” about the importance of lifelong play. Developed for schools and organizations serving parents in the Utah community, the innovative program incorporates music, photography, film, and design to help communicate scientific findings about the many benefits of play for children and adults. Ongoing research at the University of Utah has demonstrated a variety of positive changes reported by parents who have attended the 50-minute program, including spending more time playing with their children and deeper engagement with their own play activities.
